As Cyber Monday comes to an end, you can still take advantage of Best Buy's deals. When you navigate its TV and projector deals hub and sort by best-selling, the first item that comes up out of 313 items is the Samsung 75-inch LED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV. It usually sells for $850, but you can purchase it for $580 -- a savings of $270.

It's not difficult to see why this TV tops the charts. The extra large 75-inch screen optimizes everything you watch to a lifelike 4K UHD resolution. That means that you get 4X the pixels of the standard Full HD resolution for a sharper viewing experience. The smart aspect of the TV means that you can connect directly through the TV to online streaming services like Netflix and Hulu. You can choose to get rid of cable now.

The TV uses a smart platform called Tizen, an operating system specific to Samsung devices. You can connect the smart TV to Amazon Alexa-enabled devices for voice control over turning on the TV, adjusting its volume, etc. Voice control also extends to Google Assistant devices. The TV works with AirPlay 2 so that you can stream or share content from your Mac, iPad, or other Apple device to the 75-inch screen. That means you can play music or movies from your iPhone to this TV.

In addition to these great deals, ZDNET is bringing Cyber Monday straight to you with our Cyber Monday collection. There, you can find the best deals on other tablets, but also other great tech items like smartphones, robot vacuums, and more. We'll also be running a live blog during the shopping weekend, bringing you the best deals in real time.

Large TVs are becoming increasingly popular, with manufacturers releasing more models in the 70 to 77-inch range. LG and Sony usually release OLED TVs in a 77-inch size, but you won't find any LED TVs in that exact size. It's easier to find the best 75-inch TV with an LED panel rather than the best 70-inch TV because there aren't many 70-inch TVs available, and they're usually cheaper TVs. Looking for the right TV for your needs depends on your budget and what you're going to watch, and there's no perfect solution for everyone. Not sure what size you should get? Make sure to check out our TV Size to Distance Calculator to help decide if a 75-inch TV is right for you.

We've bought and tested more than 380 TVs, and below are our recommendations for the best 70-75-77-inch TVs to buy. Also, check out our picks for the best TVs, the best 65-inch TVs, or the best 80-83-85-inch TVs if you want something bigger. Most brands will start releasing their 2023 lineups soon, so make sure to vote on which ones you want us to buy and test first. The best 77-inch TV we've tested is the Samsung S95C OLED. This TV delivers incredibly impressive picture quality, with an incredibly wide color gamut in HDR and bright, vibrant highlights. It looks amazing in a dark room thanks to its nearly-infinite contrast ratio, so there's no distracting blooming or halo effect around bright areas of dark scenes or subtitles. It stands out against the LG C2 OLED thanks to its brighter colors, which are more vivid and lifelike, and it can display a wider range of colors in HDR.

If you want amazing picture quality but aren't necessarily in a completely dark room, then a Mini LED TV like the Samsung QN75QN90BAFXZA, also known as the Samsung QN90B QLED, is the best 75-inch TV that you can get. While the Samsung S95C performs best in dark environments, this TV is exceptional in well-lit rooms because it uses Mini LED backlighting to get very bright and fights glare easily from bright light sources. If that isn't enough, it also has fantastic reflection handling, so you don't have to worry about the glare in a bright room.

The best mid-range 77-inch TV is the LG OLED77C2PUA. It's a fantastic TV with stunning picture quality. It's an incredible TV for watching movies in a dark room thanks to its near-infinite contrast ratio, resulting in deep, inky blacks, with no distracting blooming around bright objects. HDR content looks incredible thanks to its wide color gamut, and bright highlights stand out.

The best mid-range TV available in a 75-inch is the Hisense 75U8H. It's an excellent TV that performs nearly as well as the Samsung QN90B QLED, with great picture quality and a great selection of extra features. It doesn't get quite as bright as the QN90B, and small highlights in HDR don't stand out as well, but it's still an excellent choice for a bright room. The biggest drawback to getting a cheaper model like this compared to the Samsung TV is that the image degrades when viewed at an angle.

If you're looking for a budget model, the best 75-inch budget 4k TV is the TCL 75S555. It's an impressive TV, especially for the price, and it delivers fantastic picture quality thanks to its superb contrast ratio and wide color gamut in HDR. It has a decent full array local dimming feature, but it's not as good as the Mini LED features on the Hisense U8H and the Samsung QN90B QLED. Its peak brightness in HDR is just okay, so bright highlights don't stand out that well.

If you only care about getting a big TV and don't want to spend too much on the best picture quality, the Hisense A6H is the best 70-inch TV at a cheap price that you can get. Although it delivers much worse picture quality than the more expensive models on this list, the 70-inch model uses a VA panel and has much better contrast than the 65-inch model we bought and tested. It means it's a significantly better choice for a dark to moderately-lit room, as dark scenes are displayed well, with very little blooming around bright objects.

Our recommendations above are what we think are currently the best 70-75-77 inch 4k TVs to buy for most people in each price range. We factor in the price (a cheaper TV wins over a pricier one if the difference isn't really worth it), feedback from our visitors, and availability (no TVs that are difficult to find or almost out of stock everywhere).

As with 4K, it's now hard to buy a TV that doesn't have a smart platform packed with streaming apps. Almost every TV will have Netflix and Amazon Prime Video on board, and Disney+ is fast approaching a similar level of ubiquity. Apple TV (which is great for pay-as-you-go movies as well as the Apple TV+ subscription service) is becoming increasingly common, too.

Serious gamers also need to check that their prospective new TV supports all of the latest gaming features. The most technically advanced and therefore rarest of these is 4K/120Hz, but VRR and ALLM are also worth looking out for. There are a number of TVs on this list that support all of these features, but we have a dedicated best gaming TVs guide for those to whom gaming is the primary concern.

There are few TVs at any price that are smarter than the AU7100, which features a Tizen operating system with more or less every app you could possibly need. There are also three HDMI inputs for external sources, one of which handles eARC for a soundbar or other sound system. ALLM is supported, too, though 4K/120Hz and VRR predictably are not.

Overall, the C2 is quite comfortably the best TV available at the size, particularly if you combine it with a soundbar. But do stay tuned for our review of the new C3, which is expected to arrive in shops very soon.

We don't accept the out-of-the-box settings that a TV comes in either. While we intentionally don't go down the route of professional calibration (you shouldn't have to have your TV professionally calibrated in order to get the best out of it), we do spend hours adjusting settings using a mixture of test patterns and real-world content until we are sure we're getting the most out of a TV so that it has the best chance to shine.

From all of our reviews, we choose the best products to feature in our Best Buys. That's why if you take the plunge and buy one of the products recommended above, or on any other Best Buy page, you can be assured you are getting a What Hi-Fi? approved product.

The 4-Series' advantage over the Vizio is that it comes with the excellent Roku Smart TV system built in. That makes it a great choice for those looking for a one-stop smart TV solution, without having to add an external streaming device. It's also generally less-expensive than the Vizio.

Looking for a high-end TV with spectacular image quality, but don't want an OLED? The Samsung QN90B is your best bet. This TV uses QLED TV tech augmented by mini-LED for a brighter image than any OLED TV. The spectacular contrast of OLED still won out in our side-by-side tests, but the QN90B QLED screen comes closer than ever.

Among midpriced models we liked the TCL 6-Series just a little better in our side-by-side comparison, but this Hisense is a strong contender. Its excellent image quality is anchored by best-in-class brightness that improves its bright-room picture quality and makes HDR TV movies, shows and games really pop. It's actually brighter than the TCL with better contrast, but the TCL's slightly more accurate image gave it the edge overall. The Hisense uses Google TV instead of Roku, and unlike the TCL, the U8H includes an ATSC 3.0 tuner. Frankly, you can't go wrong with either one. 041b061a72
